Spiritual Exercise ~ Zai Sirius
Author | Victor S. Popaliciu
Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky, situated in the Constellation Canis Majoris. In the winter months we can observe Sirius, Procyon and Betelgeuse. These 3 stars form a triangle known as the winter triangle. Each star from this triangle has a great mystical energy that we can harvest using the Zai Mudra.
Sirius, the brightest star of the night sky, was known as the Royal star. In ancient times Sirius was the star which marked for the Egyptians the beginning of the agricultural season, as the waters of the Nile rose and fertilized the earth.
Each year the Ancient Egyptians waited for the Sacred Nile River to rise and flood their agricultural fields. Because of this annual flooding of the agricultural fields by the Nile River there was food and prosperity; thus Sirius was believed to be the Star of Prosperity.
